The founder is transitioning from a solo operation to a small support team, starting with a Social Media & Outreach Manager.
Role Overview
The Social Media & Outreach Manager will manage Jamie’s online presence, content publishing, LinkedIn engagement, and lead outreach systems.
The VA will ensure that content, podcasts, and marketing assets are consistently distributed online while supporting outreach campaigns that lead to discovery calls with potential clients.
The role requires a proactive, experienced VA who can work independently, suggest improvements, and manage marketing systems without heavy supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management
Primary platform: LinkedIn, Secondary**: Youtube, Facebook**
Responsibilities include:
- Schedule and publish posts on LinkedIn
- Manage comments and engagement
- Monitor and respond to LinkedIn messages
- Ensure consistent posting schedule
- Upload and distribute short-form content (reels/clips)
- Repurpose video clips into social posts
- Manage and track content publishing
Content will primarily be written by the client, but the VA will manage distribution.
- Podcast & Video Content Management
Jamie records podcasts and videos regularly.
The VA will:
- Upload and organize content through Riverside
- Manage podcast publishing workflows
- Distribute podcast clips
- Coordinate with video editors if required
- Upload clips and content to YouTube
- Organize content libraries
- Ensure podcast and video content is properly published
This role focuses on management and distribution, not heavy editing.
- LinkedIn Lead Outreach Management
Jamie uses automated outreach systems to generate leads.
The VA will:
- Monitor LinkedIn inbox messages
- Respond to inbound messages from prospects
- Continue outreach conversations
- Send relevant resources and links
- Book discovery calls for Jamie
- Maintain prospect follow-ups
Goal: Convert leads into booked appointment with Jamie
- Outreach Platform Management
The VA will manage and monitor outreach tools such as:
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Outreach automation platforms
- CRM / prospect pipelines
Tasks include:
- Daily campaign monitoring
- Lead response handling
- Follow-up management
- Updating outreach data
- Tracking booked appointments
- Content Repurposing
Jamie already has a large library of video clips and reels.
The VA will:
- Upload reels across platforms
- Repurpose clips into posts
- Maintain a content library
- Schedule and distribute clips consistently
- Marketing Operations Coordination
The VA may coordinate with external specialists such as:
- Video editors
- Marketing freelancers
- Social media specialists
