ROLE OVERVIEW

The client needs a proactive, collaborative VA who can:

  • Guide her on strategy
  • Conduct market research
  • Suggest content ideas
  • Build her social media foundation from scratch
  • Eventually help her move toward events and community positioning

This role is not just execution. it requires initiative and strategic thinking.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Setup & Optimization

  • Create and optimize Facebook Business Page
  • Optimize Instagram profile for real estate branding
  • Ensure branding consistency (bio, highlights, profile image, contact details)
  • Set up content templates using Canva
  • Implement posting system & workflow

 

Content Creation & Management

  • Develop weekly content calendar
  • Create branded graphics using Canva
  • Write engaging captions tailored for:
    • Realtors
    • Local buyers
    • Out-of-town prospects
  • Post consistently on:
    • Facebook
    • Instagram

Content Types May Include:

  • Community highlights
  • Property features
  • Testimonials
  • Educational real estate tips
  • “Why move to North Carolina” posts
  • Seasonal event posts
  • Personal branding content

 

Market Research & Strategy

This is a key part of the role.

The VA must:

  • Research North Carolina real estate trends
  • Identify realtor engagement strategies
  • Research competitors (other sales consultants)
  • Analyze what younger agents are doing effectively
  • Suggest positioning strategies for Nicole

Geographic Focus:

  • Leland, NC
  • Wilmington, NC
  • Charlotte & Raleigh (potential relocation buyers)
  • Broader North Carolina

 

Realtor Attraction Strategy

Goal: Build relationships with realtors who can bring buyers.

Tasks may include:

  • Creating content targeted at realtors
  • Identifying realtor networks/groups
  • Supporting event promotion (future phase)
  • Suggesting collaboration opportunities

 

Event & Community Positioning (Future Phase)

  • Help plan event promotion campaigns
  • Create digital invites
  • Promote seasonal outdoor events (summer focus)
  • Build anticipation campaigns

 

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Weekly progress report
  • Engagement tracking
  • Growth metrics
  • Recommendations for improvement
  • End-of-day updates
  • Weekly summary report

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Experience in real estate social media (preferred)
  • Strong Canva design skills
  • Proficient in Facebook & Instagram
  • Able to build strategy, not just execute
  • Conducts independent research
  • Proactive communicator
  • Comfortable working with non-tech-savvy client
  • Patient, collaborative, and consultative
  • Strong English communication skills

 

WORK STRUCTURE

Initial Phase:

  • 10 hours per week (trial phase)
  • Flexible shift
  • Must provide proactive updates

Scaling Plan:

  • Increase to 20 hours per week once systems are established
  • Potential long-term / full-time growth
