Looking for: Social Media Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support social media content creation for service-based businesses. This role focuses on transforming client-provided project photos into engaging, branded social media content.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, understand social media best practices, and be comfortable working within brand guidelines. This is a flexible, part-time role with potential to expand as client demand grows.

Scope of Work:

  • Review and organize client-submitted project images
  • Edit images (light enhancements, formatting, branding elements)
  • Add logos, offers, and relevant marketing messaging to visuals
  • Create captions aligned with client branding and campaign goals
  • Schedule and publish posts across social media platforms
  • Repurpose content for multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines for each client
  • (Optional) Monitor comments/messages and support basic community engagement if required
  • Collaborate with the business owner on content direction and campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media content creation and graphic design
  • Strong understanding of platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and adapt content per client
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail
  • Basic copywriting skills for captions and posts
  • Organized and able to manage multiple client content queues
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently on a flexible schedule
  • Experience with service-based businesses (e.g., construction or local services) is a plus

Tools Required:

  • Canva (primary design tool)
  • Buffer (for scheduling and cross-posting)
  • Basic familiarity with cloud storage or remote desktop environments
  • (Nice to have) Basic knowledge of Adobe tools

Shifts & Hours:

  • Starting with minimum of 10 hours per week; flexible schedule

Target Start Date:

  • Not immediate
  • Expected start: 2–3 weeks after client onboarding is finalized
