Social Media & LinkedIn Marketing Virtual Assistant

Overview of the Role
Client is looking for a proactive, strategic, and collaborative Social Media & LinkedIn VA who can not only execute tasks but also bring ideas, initiate improvements, and help her grow her brand visibility, especially around her speaking engagements and content production.
This role requires someone who:
  • Is proactive and takes initiative
  • Can provide suggestions, ideas, and strategies

  • Is available during her working hours
  • Works efficiently and focuses on results, not just hours
  • Can collaborate with her for content, visibility, and promotions
  • Is reliable, responsive, and consistent

    Key Responsibilities

  1. Social Media Management (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)

  • Post and schedule content consistently on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and (eventually) TikTok.

  • Maintain an active presence on LinkedIn and IG – primary platforms for Dora.

  • Rebuild or help set up new business Facebook page if needed.

  • Ensure content is posted based on client’s preferred frequency (around 4 posts/week, aligned with existing content schedule).

    2. Content Repurposing & Creation

  • Repurpose blog posts and YouTube videos into social media content (posts, graphics, reels, captions).

  • Create posts to promote:

    • Weekly blog posts (Tuesdays & Fridays)

    • YouTube long-form videos (Wednesdays & Sundays)

    • Shorts (edited by video editor; VA may handle posting and captions)

  • Turn speaking engagements into promotional content (countdowns, announcements, reminder posts).

    3. LinkedIn Focused Support

  • Manage client’s LinkedIn content calendar and publishing.

  • Help grow brand visibility, engagement, and authority positioning.

  • Prepare content needed around speaking invitations and events.

  • Ensure LinkedIn presence becomes consistent and aligned with client’s brand voice.

    4. Strategy & Collaboration

  • Provide ideas, insights, and suggestions proactively.

  • Advise on trends, opportunities for engagement, and visibility improvements.

  • Collaborate with Dora for:

    • Promotional videos

    • Event-related content

    • Social media campaigns

    • Planning content themes

  • Help in setting monthly goals, direction, and content focus

    5. Coordination & Support

  • Work closely with the client and her video editor to ensure:

    • No overlapping tasks

    • Workloads are balanced and clear

    • VA handles social media so the editor focuses mainly on YouTube

  • Coordinate content access, Google Drive materials, and asset management

    6. Reporting & Communication

  • Send End-of-Day reports summarizing completed tasks.

  • Join weekly check-ins to align goals and upcoming content.

  • Provide weekly progress updates and recommendations.

  • Be responsive via WhatsApp or client’s preferred channel during the agreed hours.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong experience in social media management and content strategy

  • Expertise in LinkedIn content management

  • Ability to repurpose long-form content into reels, posts, and short videos

  • Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and initiative

  • Creative mindset with the ability to bring ideas

  • Must be available between 9 AM – 2 PM client’s time

  • Familiarity with Canva, scheduling tools, and basic video editing for social posts

  • Highly reliable, consistent, and collaborative

  • Comfortable working under weekly hour limits (initially 5–10 hours)
