About the Business

A digital marketing agency specializing in social media management and content creation. Amber leads a growing team and provides customized social media services for clients. This VA role is initially focused on supporting Amber directly, with potential expansion to broader team support as the business scales.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and tech-savvy Virtual Assistant to assist with:

  • Social media content creation and scheduling
  • Administrative support and organization
  • Email and file management
  • Supporting growth initiatives in a flexible, collaborative environment

The ideal candidate will have a mix of creative content skills and strong organizational ability, with experience in the tools and platforms used in digital marketing.

Core Responsibilities

Social Media Support

Tools: Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite

  • Create and edit short-form content (Reels, carousels, stories)
  • Schedule social media posts via Meta Business Suite
  • Assist with visual content for client campaigns
  • Organize content library in Google Workspace
  • Support content planning based on Amber’s direction

Administrative & Email Support

Tools: Google Workspace, Zoho (if applicable)

  • Organize and maintain client communications in Google Workspace
  • Manage Amber’s email inbox, flag priority messages, and draft responses
  • Maintain organized files, folders, and documents for easy retrieval
  • Assist in digital workflow optimization

Project-Based Support (if needed)

  • Support ad-hoc projects as assigned
  • Coordinate with other team members for seamless workflow
  • Prepare reports or deliverables as requested

Coordination & Communication

  • Attend brief check-ins with Amber for task alignment
  • Provide end-of-day summaries or progress updates
  • Maintain proactive communication regarding deadlines or task status

 

 

Required Skills

Must-Have:

  • Excellent written English and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, and Meta Business Suite
  • Proficient in Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable with a flexible, evolving role

Preferred:

  • Experience creating social media content for multiple platforms
  • Attention to detail in scheduling and content formatting
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and trends

 

Hours & Structure

  • Initial commitment: 10 hours per week
  • VA cannot exceed 10 hours/week without client approval
  • Potential increase in hours as workload grows
  • End-of-day reporting required
