Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant with strong SEO knowledge and experience in marketing support and lead generation.
This role will start with a focus on SEO execution and gradually expand into:

  • LinkedIn support
  • Lead generation
  • CRM (HubSpot) management

This is a part-time, ongoing role (starting at ~10 hours/week) with potential to grow.
Key Responsibilities

  1. SEO Support (Primary Focus)

Conduct keyword research and optimization
Improve website SEO performance (on-page & off-page)
Build and manage backlinks
Optimize website content using target keywords

  • Support improvements in search rankings
  • Implement SEO best practices
  • Update website content as needed

Bonus: Experience with home services / landscaping niche

  1. LinkedIn Support & Engagement
  • Identify relevant posts for engagement (for client and/or her clients)
  • Research industry-relevant conversations
  • Support visibility through strategic engagement (not spammy)
  • Assist in posting content (if needed)
  1. Lead Generation & Outreach

Support targeted lead generation via:

  • LinkedIn
  • HubSpot
  • Work from existing database and help maintain it
  • Research and identify ideal prospects
  • Maintain organized lead lists
  1. CRM Management (HubSpot – Future Scope)
  • Manage contact imports
  • Organize and maintain properties
  • Tagging and segmentation
  • Ensure clean and structured CRM data
  1. Marketing Support (As Needed)
  • Assist with content-related tasks
  • Support marketing execution
  • Conduct research for campaigns or strategy

Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have:
Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals
Experience with:

  • Keyword research
  • Backlink building

On-page SEO
Familiarity with HubSpot CRM
Experience with LinkedIn for business use
Strong research and analytical skills
High attention to detail

  • Ability to follow instructions and work proactively

Nice-to-Have:
Experience in e-commerce marketing

  • Background in home services / landscaping niche
  • Content marketing or copywriting skills
  • Experience supporting marketing strategists or agencies

Tools & Platforms

  • HubSpot (primary CRM)
  • LinkedIn
  • SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar – preferred but not required)

Work Setup

  • Hours: ~10 hours/week (starting)
  • Schedule: Flexible, with slight overlap in EST preferred
  • Timezone: Client is based in Eastern Standard Time (US)
  • Engagement Type: Ongoing (with initial trial period)
