Role Title: Marketing & Lead Generation Virtual Assistant (Social Media + Outreach)

About the Client
The client is a professional massage therapist in the UK who provides:
- Corporate office massage services
- Mobile massage services for private clients at home
She currently works through agencies that bring her corporate clients, but she wants to build her own brand and secure corporate clients directly so she can retain the full service value.
Her goal is to build a professional brand presence online, attract corporate office clients, and also maintain visibility for local individual massage bookings.
The client is highly skilled in her craft but prefers not to handle marketing, social media, or outreach, and would like a VA who can take ownership of the marketing side of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Brand Consultation
The VA will initially help the client determine the best marketing direction for the business.
Tasks may include:
- Reviewing the existing websit
- Conducting competitor research for corporate massage services
- Advising whether the business should:
- Keep the current brand name
- Adjust the brand positioning
- Optimize the website structure
- Recommending marketing channels for lead generation
- Creating a 30-day to 90-day marketing plan
- Social Media Management
The VA will manage and optimize the client’s social media presence.
Platforms include:
Responsibilities:
- Content planning and scheduling
- Creating social media content ideas
- Repurposing photos provided by the client
- Writing captions aligned with the client’s tone
- Maintaining consistent branding
- Improving profile presentation
- Monitoring engagement
The client is willing to provide photos from her work locations, which the VA can convert into content.
- Lead Generation & Corporate Outreach
A major goal of the role is to secure corporate massage bookings directly from companies.
Tasks include:
- Researching corporate offices that may need wellness services
- Identifying HR or workplace wellness contacts
- Conducting outreach through:
- LinkedIn messaging
- Email outreach
- Social media messaging
- Introducing the client’s services to corporate offices
- Nurturing leads and building relationships
- Booking consultation calls or massage sessions
- Local Client Lead Generation
In addition to corporate clients, the VA will also help attract individual local clients.
Tasks may include:
- Promoting services to local audiences
- Creating location-based social media content
- Managing inbound messages from potential clients
- Supporting local marketing campaigns
- Website Collaboration (with Web Developer)
A separate web developer may handle technical improvements to the website.
The marketing VA will collaborate by:
- Suggesting content improvements
- Recommending page structure
- Advising on messaging and branding
- Helping align website design with marketing goals
The VA may also recommend whether the business should:
- Keep the existing website
- Simplify it
- Build a more optimized structure for lead generation
