Role Overview

Greg is seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Lead Generation & Prospecting Virtual Assistant to support outbound B2B sales efforts.

This role plays a critical part in building qualified prospect lists by identifying key decision-makers within target companies and gathering accurate contact information. The VA will directly contribute to pipeline growth, meeting bookings, and overall revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prospect Research & Executive Identification
  • Work from a provided list of target companies
  • Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator to:
    • Identify decision-makers such as CEO, CFO, HR Directors, and other senior leaders
    • Assess relevance and confirm decision-making authority
  • Use AI Sales Platform | Apollo.io – Outbound, Inbound & Automation to:
    • Extract verified email addresses
    • Source direct phone numbers where available
  • Accurately input and organize data into Google Sheets, including:
    • Company Name
    • Executive Name
    • Job Title
    • Email Address
    • Phone Number
    • LinkedIn Profile URL
    • Notes (if applicable)

High accuracy and attention to detail are critical

 

  1. Lead Data Organization & Quality Control
  • Maintain clean, well-structured, and duplicate-free spreadsheets
  • Ensure consistent formatting and data integrity
  • Follow client-provided qualification criteria
  • Flag incomplete, unclear, or questionable data for review
  1. Outreach & Sales Support (Within Allocated Hours)
  • Send outreach emails using client-provided templates
  • Manage follow-ups and track engagement
  • Support LinkedIn connection requests and messaging
  • Track outreach activities and responses
  • Assist with light CRM organization and updates

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in B2B lead generation and prospect research
  • Understanding of prospect qualification and targeting
  • Data validation and verification skills
  • Advanced spreadsheet management and organization
  • Ability to follow structured workflows and SOPs
  • Strong online research capabilities

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication
  • Strong comprehension and ability to understand nuance
  • Proactive and responsive communicator
  • Comfortable asking clarifying questions when needed

  • Professional, reliable, and discreet (especially when handling login credentials)

Client Preferences & Important Notes

 

  • Communication should be primarily via email
  • VA must be able to align or overlap with New York (EST/EDT) timezone when needed
  • Strong preference for candidates who are detail-driven and quick to understand instructions with minimal supervision
