Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Lead Generation & Marketing VA to support a healthcare-based geriatric care management agency and a growing public speaking brand.

This role focuses heavily on:

Speaking engagement research & outreach

Email list growth & follow-up

Light marketing coordination

Presentation support

CRM & email marketing management

This is an ongoing role starting at 10 hours per week (minimum commitment).

Core Responsibilities

Speaking Lead Generation & Research

Research speaking opportunities aligned with:

Women’s groups (midlife women 40–60+)

Retirement communities

Senior living communities

HR conferences & professional associations

Track submission deadlines for conferences

Identify event organizers & contact information

Maintain an organized pipeline of opportunities (Excel/CRM)

Assist in submitting proposals

Customize pitch templates when needed

Email List Building & Follow-Up

Support landing page strategy for email capture

Manage MailChimp account

Upload and organize contacts

Create and schedule formatted follow-up emails

Send post-event follow-ups

Track engagement metrics

Maintain list hygiene

Presentation & Marketing Support

Assist in creating or formatting:

Presentation decks (Canva)

Proposal documents (Word/Canva)

Speaker one-sheets

Coordinate marketing materials for events

Maintain speaking media page content

Website Content Coordination (Light Support)

Send finalized content to Web Developer

Ensure podcasts, media mentions, speaking engagements are uploaded

Maintain consistency across branding

Required Skills & Tools

MailChimp (Required)

Canva (Required – presentation & graphic support)

WordPress (Basic understanding)

Microsoft Word & Excel

Strong research skills

Strong written English (professional tone)

Organized & deadline-driven

Proactive communicator

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience supporting speakers, authors, or coaches

Comfortable researching conferences and submission portals

Strategic thinker who understands audience targeting

Detail-oriented and able to track multiple submission deadlines

Independent and proactive (10 hours must be fully utilized weekly)

Commitment & Structure

Minimum 10 hours per week (billed regardless of task volume)

Must provide daily/end-of-day reports

Time zone flexibility acceptable
