Looking for: General Virtual Assistant
Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our growing online business. This role will start primarily with administrative tasks, with the opportunity to expand into content-related and light social media tasks over time. The ideal candidate is comfortable following documented SOPs, working independently across time zones, and handling repetitive but important tasks with care.
Scope of Work
The Virtual Assistant will be responsible for a mix of administrative and content-related tasks, including but not limited to:
- Administrative & Website Support (Primary Focus)
- Updating and maintaining blog posts in WordPress
- Uploading and formatting blog content based on existing templates and SOPs
- Updating layouts and polishing existing blog posts using step-by-step instructions
- Uploading blog content to multiple external websites (approximately five sites)
- Following provided scripts and content lists (no original content research required)
- Content & Email Support
- Scheduling and managing email campaigns using MailerLite
- Supporting content scheduling using Trello
- Assisting with content uploads related to bundles and memberships sold via ThriveCart
- Basic organization and task tracking using Notion
- Social Media & Engagement (Future Scope)
- Light engagement and support in Facebook
- Potential assistance with social media content scheduling (not a primary focus initially)
All tasks are supported by clear SOPs and documented processes. Opportunity for expanded responsibilities over time based on performance
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of WordPress (especially blog management)
- Experience with email marketing tools (MailerLite preferred)
- Comfortable following detailed SOPs and checklists
- Strong written and speaking English skills (content is entirely in English)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Able to work independently and manage tasks asynchronously
- Clear written communication skills for task updates and clarifications

- Trello (content scheduling)
- ThriveCart (bundles and memberships)
- Notion (task management & SOPs)
- Toggl (time tracking) – along with Notion
- Facebook (future engagement support)
Shifts & Hours:
- Starting with a minimum of 10 hours per week; flexible working hours
- Asynchronous setup due to time zone difference (Client is based in Norway – GMT+1)
- Target Start Date: Flexible
- Expected onboarding within 1–2 weeks after candidate shortlisting and interviews
- This is not an urgent hire; priority is finding the right long-term fit
