OVERVIEW:
The client has recently acquired multiple event series and needs immediate marketing support to:
- Fill vendor booth spaces
- Increase event attendance
- Launch paid advertising campaigns
- Implement geofencing strategies targeting competitors
The previous full-time multi-brand VA role is no longer required. Administrative and assistant tasks are currently covered.This role is strictly focused on event marketing execution and vendor acquisition.
The first event is approaching quickly (April 4th), so marketing must begin immediately.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Vendor Booth Sales Marketing (Primary Focus)
- Develop strategies to sell vendor booth spaces
- Launch paid campaigns specifically targeting potential vendors
- Identify and target ideal vendor audiences
- Drive vendor applications and sign-ups
- Track and report vendor acquisition results
Paid Social Media Advertising (Expert-Level Required)
Must have hands-on experience with:
- Facebook Marketing (Meta Ads)
- Instagram Marketing
- TikTok Marketing
Responsibilities include:
- Building and launching ad campaigns
- Audience targeting and testing
- Retargeting strategies
- Conversion tracking
- Optimizing for cost per lead and conversions
- Scaling winning campaigns
Marketing must target both:
- Vendors (to fill booths)
- Attendees (to drive foot traffic)
Geofencing & Competitor Targeting (Critical Requirement)
- Implement geofencing strategies
- Target competitor events
- Reach audiences attending similar shows
- Capture competitor traffic and redirect interest to our event
- This is a priority strategy mentioned by the client.
SEO Support
- Assist with SEO efforts to increase visibility
- Improve event discoverability online
- Support traffic generation to event pages
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Proven experience running Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ads
- Experience with geofencing marketing
- Strong understanding of digital advertising strategy
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written English communication
- Fast execution (urgent start required)
WORK STRUCTURE:
- Part-time to start; minimum of 10 hours per week
- Immediate start required
- Flexible hours, but quick turnaround is critical
- Potential to expand based on performance
