E-commerce Operations & Technical Support (Full-Time)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a full-time E-commerce Operations & Technical Support Specialist to support a growing fractional e-commerce consultancy. This role will work directly with the E-commerce Director to manage day-to-day execution across multiple client accounts while helping troubleshoot technical issues, prepare reports, and keep projects moving forward.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who is tech-savvy, organized, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple e-commerce platforms and marketing channels. Over time, this person will become a trusted extension of the director and may interact directly with clients, agencies, and freelancers.

Scope of Work / Responsibilities:

  • Support ongoing e-commerce operations across multiple client accounts (Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and other channels)
  • Assist with weekly and monthly reporting, scorecards, and performance tracking
  • Monitor KPIs across e-commerce, Pay-Per-Click (PPC), email, and analytics platforms
  • Help diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues (e.g., tracking issues, Google Tag Manager, compromised code, broken integrations)
  • Assist with email marketing execution:
    • Coordinating with designers
    • Scheduling campaigns in Klaviyo
    • Managing subject lines, preheaders, and sends
  • Support PPC oversight (not execution):
    • Review Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, TikTok Ads dashboards
    • Pull reports and flag issues or anomalies
  • Work with subscription tools and providers to ensure smooth operations
  • Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers (developers, designers, PPC teams)
  • Provide basic project management support:
    • Follow up on deliverables
    • Track deadlines
    • Ensure tasks are moving forward
  • Assist with light HTML edits and site troubleshooting when needed
  • Document processes and help improve operational efficiency
  • Serve as backup support when the E-commerce Director is unavailable

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Required:
    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
    • Proven experience supporting e-commerce operations
    • High level of technical curiosity and problem-solving ability
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Comfortable managing multiple priorities across different clients
    • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Working Knowledge (not expert-level required):
    • Shopify (including Shopify Plus / B2B setups)
    • Klaviyo (email marketing)
    • Google Analytics (GA4)
    • Google Ads & Microsoft Ads
    • Meta Ads & TikTok Ads (understanding structure, metrics, and reporting)
    • PPC and SEO fundamentals
    • Google Tag Manager (basic troubleshooting)
    • HTML/CSS basics (enough to understand and validate changes)
    • Excel / Google Sheets (reporting, scorecards)
  • Nice to Have
    • Experience automating reports or dashboards
    • Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Marketplace
    • Light project management experience
    • Experience working with distributed teams or agencies

Shifts & Hours:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week
    • Must work within U.S. Eastern Time (ET)
    • Flexible schedule within ET (e.g., 8am–4pm or 11am–7pm ET)
  • Target Start Date: As soon as possible, with priority on finding the right long-term fit
