Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled, strategic, and proactive Business Development VA who can build and execute a lead generation system from scratch.

This is not a basic VA role — the client is specifically seeking someone who:

Thinks like a marketer

Acts like a business partner

Can recommend strategy (not just execute tasks)

The primary goal is to:

Generate qualified leads and book meetings directly into the client’s calendar

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
    Build targeted lead lists focused on:
    Talent development teams
    Source accurate contact details (email, LinkedIn, phone when possible)
  2. Decision-makers
  3. HR leaders
  4. Conduct in-depth market research to identify ideal companies (100–600 employees)
  5. Outreach Strategy & Execution
    LinkedIn outreach
    (Optional) cold calling if needed
    Continuously test and improve outreach strategies (A/B testing mindset)
  6. Personalize messaging based on target audience
  7. Email campaigns
  8. Develop and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns, including:
  9. CRM & Systems Setup
    HubSpot or
    Build and manage:
    Contact databases
    Ensure all outreach and leads are properly tracked and organized
  10. Follow-up workflows
  11. Lead pipelines
  12. GoHighLevel
  13. Recommend and help implement a CRM system such as:
  14. Follow-ups & Nurturing
    Maintain consistent communication cadence with leads
  15. Optimize messaging based on engagement and response
  16. Create structured follow-up sequences
  17. Appointment Setting
    Coordinate scheduling using the client’s booking system
  18. Qualify leads and book meetings directly into the client’s calendar
  19. Strategy & Continuous Improvement
    Recommend improvements to:
    Targeting
    Act as a strategic partner, not just a task executor
  20. Channels
  21. Messaging
  22. Analyze performance of outreach efforts

Expected Deliverables (Initial Phase)

CRM system setup (or recommendation + initial build)

Initial lead database (built from scratch)

Outreach messaging templates

Booked discovery calls/meetings

Tools & Systems (Preferred but Flexible)

CRM: HubSpot or GoHighLevel

LinkedIn Sales Navigator (preferred)

Email outreach tools (e.g., Instantly, Apollo, etc.)

Lead sourcing tools (for emails, phone numbers, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

Strong background in B2B lead generation & outreach

Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, GHL, or similar)

Market research & data sourcing skills

Email marketing & campaign execution

Copywriting for outreach (high-converting messaging)

Strategic Capabilities

Ability to build systems from scratch

Strong understanding of sales funnels & pipelines

Experience targeting mid-sized companies and corporate decision-makers

This role is a priority hire focused on revenue generation

Client is open to guidance and recommendations from the VA

Looking for a long-term team member, not just short-term support

Previous outreach efforts were ineffective → expects improved strategy

VA may need to educate and guide client on best marketing approaches

Engagement Structure

Trial Phase

Short-term package 10 hrs (7-day duration)

Focus: testing fit, initial setup, and execution

Ongoing Engagement (If Successful)

Minimum: 10 hours per week

Potential to scale:

Part-time → Full-time
