- Thought leadership via LinkedIn, blogs, and social media
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Virtual Assistant to take full ownership of the podcast production and content distribution workflow.
The primary goal of this role is to free up the client’s time by executing a structured, checklist-based process for podcast editing, repurposing, and publishing.
This is an execution-focused role initially, with potential to evolve into a more strategic position over time.
Key Responsibilities
Podcast Production & Editing
- Edit podcast episodes using Descript (templates and prompts provided)
- Add required elements (based on client checklist)
- Export final podcast audio/video
Content Repurposing
- Create**7 short-form video reels (approx. 60 seconds each)**from each podcast episode
- Ensure content aligns with platform requirements (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
Blog Creation
- Generate blog content from podcast using AI tools (prompt-based)
- Review and refine content for quality and clarity
- Prepare blog for publishing
Publishing & Distribution
- Upload and publish podcasts to:
- Spotify
- YouTube
- Publish blog via:
- MailChimp
- Schedule and post content across platforms using Planable (Plan That)
SEO Optimization
- Optimize podcast and blog content using:
- Podcast SEO tools
- YouTube SEO tools (VidIQ)
- Apply recommended edits from AI tools
Content Assets Creation
- Generate podcast cover art using Canva and VidIQ
- Follow existing prompts/templates
Additional (Ad Hoc Tasks)
- Light website updates (as needed)
- Assist with overflow work if podcast tasks are temporarily unavailable
