Role: Sales & Business Development VA (Fashion & Jewelry Events)

Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Sales & Business Development Virtual Assistant to support a global luxury events company specializing in international fashion weeks and high-end jewelry exhibitions across cities such as Dubai, Paris, Milan, and New York.

This role is not administrative—it is a results-driven, revenue-focused sales role requiring strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills. The ideal candidate can independently manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing deals and contract signing.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. End-to-End Sales Execution
  • Handle the complete sales cycle:
    • Prospecting → Outreach → Relationship Building → Negotiation → Closing → Contract Finalization
  • Convert leads into paying participants (fashion designers, jewelry brands, exhibitors)
  • Take ownership of closing deals, not just booking appointments

 

  1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Continuously source and update leads:
    • Fashion designers (emerging to established)
    • Jewelry brands and exhibitors
    • Boutique labels and international brands
  • Research new and active brands globally (Europe, Middle East, Asia, etc.)
  • Maintain and refine lead databases (removing inactive companies, updating contacts)

 

  1. Multi-Channel Outreach
  • Conduct outreach through:
    • Email campaigns (e.g., Mailchimp)
    • Instagram DMs
    • LinkedIn messaging
    • WhatsApp
    • Cold calling (if needed)
  • Adapt communication strategies based on region and client responsiveness

 

  1. Sales Communication & Negotiation
  • Present event offerings (fashion weeks, exhibitions, sponsorships)
  • Communicate brand value, exclusivity, and positioning
  • Handle objections and negotiate effectively to close deals
  • Maintain persistence—follow up until a clear “Yes” or “No”

 

  1. Closing & Contract Management
  • Secure signed agreements from clients
  • Coordinate directly with prospects until deal closure
  • Ensure smooth handover after closing

 

  1. Strategy Contribution
  • Develop and suggest:
    • Sales strategies
    • Outreach improvements
    • Market expansion ideas

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Requirements

  • Proven experience in:
    • Sales, business development, or high-ticket closing
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
  • Ability to confidently handle international clients
  • Results-driven mindset with strong accountability

 

Preferred Experience

  • Background in:
    • Fashion industry, luxury brands, or events
    • B2B sales or partnerships
  • Experience selling:
    • Event slots, sponsorships, exhibitions, or premium services

 

Communication Skills

  • Excellent English communication (written & verbal)
  • Persuasive, confident, and professional tone
  • Ability to adapt messaging across cultures and regions

 

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with:
    • Email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp)
    • CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) – optional but preferred
    • Social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn)
    • Google Workspace
  • Ability to recommend and implement better tools/processes

 

Performance Expectations (To Be Finalized)

  • Monthly:
    • Leads generated
    • Outreach volume
    • Conversion rates
    • Closed deals / revenue contribution
  • KPIs and targets will be co-developed with the client

 

Work Setup

  • Schedule: Flexible (based on target regions)
  • Commitment:
    • Part-time (min. 10 hrs/week) OR Full-time
  • Timezone: Flexible (global market coverage)
