Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Virtual Assistant to support an internationally recognized motivational speaker, leadership trainer, and recording artist. This role is focused on booking paid speaking engagements, promoting digital content and music releases, and creating short-form social media videos.
The ideal candidate is experienced in lead generation, relationship-building, and closing deals, particularly with corporations, colleges, and organizations in California and the Philippines.
This is a performance-based, independent contractor role, not an hourly position.
Scope of Work:
- Lead Generation & Booking (Primary Responsibility)
- Generate and secure a minimum of five (5) paid speaking or training meetings per month
- Target markets:
- Corporations (leadership training & team-building workshops)
- Colleges and universities (especially community colleges)
- Focus regions:
- California (USA)
- Philippines
- Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, social platforms, and direct relationship-based communication via telemarketing
- Qualify prospects and close deals, not just set appointments
- Coordinate meetings and speaking opportunities directly with decision-makers
- Utilize an existing database of approximately 300 California community colleges, plus build new databases for:
- Corporate clients
- Philippine-based organizations
- Social Media & Music Promotion
- Support the promotion of new music releases and brand visibility
- Create and schedule content for:
- Facebook / Instagram / TikTok / LinkedIn
- Develop promotional strategies using:
- Short-form videos (reels/shorts)
- Graphics and captions
- Assist with boosting exposure and engagement around music releases and speaking brand
- Video Editing & Content Creation
- Edit short-form videos only (less than 5 minutes)
- Repurpose existing content into:
- Reels / Shorts / TikTok videos
- Optimize videos for social media engagement and brand alignment
- No long-form or advanced cinematic editing required
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in lead generation and closing deals
- Strong background in business development, sales, or client acquisition
- Ability to independently secure paid bookings
- Experience working with corporations, educational institutions, or training organizations
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working in a results-based compensation model
- Has existing professional connections in the Philippines
- Experience booking speakers, trainers, or consultants
- Familiarity with leadership training, motivational speaking, or corporate workshops
- Experience managing multiple social media platforms
- Understanding of U.S. and Philippine business cultures
Tools Required:
- Video editing tools of your choice (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, etc.)
- Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Email and LinkedIn for outreach
- Any CRM or tracking system you are comfortable using (not provided)
Shifts & Hours:
- Minimum of 10 hours per week; Flexible schedule
- No fixed daily or weekly hours
- Contractor may work at any time as long as monthly booking targets are met
- Target start date: February 1st or 2nd (Monday)
