Role Overview
The company is a premium video production company working with high-end corporate and finance-sector clients across the UK and US. The founder leads business development personally and delivers high-quality visual assets through a trusted supplier network.
The company is now seeking a Social Media & Brand Growth VA to elevate its LinkedIn and Instagram presence, build brand credibility, and grow followers organically while maintaining a premium, polished brand image.
This role is strategy + execution — not just posting, but helping shape what to post, why, and how to grow the brand’s authority and trust online.
Primary Goals of the Role
Grow LinkedIn Business Page and Instagram followers from low hundreds to 1,000+ followers per platform
Ensure the social presence reflects a premium, professional brand
Build trust and credibility when potential clients search the company
Establish a consistent, high-quality posting rhythm
- Support organic growth first, with potential future paid ads
Core Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy & Planning
Develop a clear content strategy aligned with a premium production brand
Research how similar high-end creative/media companies position themselves
Propose:
Posting frequency
Content mix (portfolio, BTS, thought leadership, industry insights, brand storytelling)
- Build and maintain a monthly content calendar
- Guide the founder weekly on:
- What assets are needed
- What footage/photos to provide
- What content should be captured from ongoing projects
- Content Creation & Repurposing
Using existing assets (raw footage, photos, project work), create:
- LinkedIn posts (business-facing, authority-building)
- Instagram posts (visual storytelling, brand presence)
- Short-form video clips (reels, snippets from shoots/projects)
- Carousel posts (project highlights, storytelling)
- Behind-the-scenes style content (while keeping brand premium)
- Light educational/industry insight posts related to production & visual storytelling
Important: Content must stay high-quality and premium — no spammy, low-effort, or overly trendy styles that reduce brand positioning.
- Editing & Tools
Use Canva for branded graphics and layout
Use CapCut or similar for quick social edits
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro preferred for higher-end video exports
- Maintain consistent use of:
- Brand logos
- Brand colors
- visual identity
- Posting, Scheduling & Platform Management
- Schedule and publish posts on:
- LinkedIn Business Page
- Write professional, brand-aligned captions
- Add relevant hashtags (industry appropriate, not spammy)
- Ensure visual and messaging consistency across platforms
- Growth & Engagement
- Focus on organic growth strategies first
- Monitor:
- Follower growth
- Engagement (likes, comments, shares)
- Suggest improvements based on performance
- Light engagement support (reacting, commenting where appropriate under brand voice)
- Reporting & Tracking
Track and report weekly:
Follower growth
Post performance
Engagement trends
Help set up a simple tracking system (Trello, Asana, Notion, or similar)
- Provide monthly summary insights
- Educate the client on:
- What’s working
- What to improve
- When paid ads may be worth testing
Collaboration Expectations
Work closely with the founder (who provides raw assets + direction)
- Be proactive in asking for materials and prompting content needs
- Confident in suggesting ideas and improvements
- Comfortable working independently with minimal micromanagement
- Communicate clearly via email and shared planning tools
Required Skills
- Strong experience in LinkedIn & Instagram marketing for brands
- Background in content strategy, not just posting
- Experience working with creative, media, or visual brands (preferred)
- Skilled in:
- Canva
- Short-form video editing tools
- Strong visual judgment and understanding of premium brand positioning
- Good copywriting for professional/business audiences
- Organized, strategic, and proactive
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) are required, with the ability to:
- Write polished, professional captions
- Communicate clearly with the founder via email and occasional calls
- Understand feedback, tone, and brand nuances
Nice to Have

- Experience growing B2B or creative brand social accounts
