Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, growth-oriented Virtual Assistant (VA) to support the expansion of two purpose-driven social media communities on LinkedIn and Instagram. This role is ideal for a woman who is deeply interested in women’s health, hormonal intelligence, and community-led growth.
The VA will work closely with the founder, a former executive and women’s health educator, to help scale audience reach, refine content strategy, and increase engagement while learning alongside a thought leader in female performance, biology, and wellbeing.
This is the founder’s first experience working with a VA, so the role will begin collaboratively and evolve over time as trust and systems are established.
Scope of Work:
Core Responsibilities:
- Support content strategy and planning for:
- LinkedIn (thought leadership for executive and high-performing women)
- Instagram (Australia-focused community for women with endometriosis)
- Create and schedule platform-appropriate content (graphics, carousels, short-form videos/reels)
- Adapt messaging and content style to suit each platform’s audience and format
- Research relevant topics aligned with:
- Hormonal intelligence
- Female performance and leadership
- Endometriosis, inflammation, and lifestyle interventions
- Support audience growth, with a strong emphasis on:
- LinkedIn follower growth (goal: initial doubling from ~2,700 followers)
- Instagram growth within a specific geographic market (Australia only)
- Assist with building early-stage brand assets (e.g., content consistency, visual direction) in collaboration with the founder
- Track basic performance metrics and identify what content supports growth goals
- Future tasks may also involve direct community engagement (responding to DMs/comments)
Note: This may be handed over gradually once trust and familiarity are established.
Qualifications & Ideal Profile:
- Female candidate (content centers on menstrual cycles, hormones, and female biology)
- Strong experience with LinkedIn and Instagram content creation and growth
- Demonstrated understanding of platform-specific content strategies
- Ability to think strategically about growth and not just posting for consistency
- Experience growing accounts within specific geographic markets
- Comfortable collaborating with a founder and adapting to evolving workflows
- Strongly Preferred
- Interest or background in:
- Women’s health
- Hormones, menstrual cycle awareness, or wellbeing
- Holistic, cultural, or lifestyle-based health approaches
- Curious, research-oriented mindset
- Brings ideas and insights from their own cultural background
- Able to provide:
- Portfolio of past work (sample graphics and short-form videos (reels))
- Case studies showing audience growth (e.g., follower increases, engagement improvements)
Tools & Platforms:
- Primary Platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram
- Content Creation / Editing Tools:
- Canva (preferred but flexible)
- Photoshop
- CapCut (especially for reels/short-form video)
- Scheduling and workflow tools may be introduced later as needed
Shifts & Hours:
- Starting with a minimum of 10 hours per week; flexible shift
- Target Start Date: To be finalized after candidate selection and onboarding
