Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive General Virtual Assistant (VA) to provide ongoing support across three growing initiatives:

  1. Wot4 Services – A road safety and personal responsibility speaking business delivering presentations to schools, sporting clubs, and corporate clients (including mining and construction companies).
  2. Wot4.org** Limited** – A newly approved non-profit charity with DGR status, focused on road safety, youth wellbeing, and community impact.
  3. Turley Books – A children’s book brand with one published title and multiple upcoming books.

The VA will play a key role in social media management, content coordination, administrative support (including grant applications), marketing assistance, and basic website updates coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with purpose-driven organizations and can manage multiple workstreams with consistency and care.

Scope of Work

  • Social Media Management & Marketing Support
    • Assist with content creation (graphics, short videos/reels, basic edits) using provided photos and videos
    • Schedule and post content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook for multiple brands
    • Adapt content tone per platform (professional for LinkedIn, engaging and youth-friendly for Instagram/Facebook)
    • Organize content calendars and posting schedules
    • Assist with captions, hashtags, and basic engagement monitoring
    • Support promotion of events, talks, charity initiatives, and book releases
  • Video & Content Support
    • Perform basic video editing for short-form content (reels/shorts)
    • Resize and repurpose content across platforms
    • Organize and manage digital assets in Google Drive
  • Administrative Support
    • Assist with grant research and grant applications for the charity
    • Compile required documents (mission statements, charity information, evidence of impact, photos, links)
    • Track applications, deadlines, and responses
    • Provide general admin support as needed
  • Website & Digital Coordination (Non-Developer Tasks)
    • Upload content updates (news, testimonials, client logos, announcements) to existing websites
    • Coordinate with a web developer for larger updates or technical tasks
    • Assist with basic audits, content organization, and ongoing updates
  • Systems & Organization
    • Help streamline workflows using tools such as Google Drive, Canva, ClickUp, Microsoft Teams, and HubSpot
    • Maintain organized folders, contact lists, and task tracking
    • Support CRM cleanup and basic data entry where required

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience as a Virtual Assistant, Social Media Assistant, or Marketing/Admin VA
  • Strong written English and communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently with clear instructions
  • Organized, reliable, and deadline-driven
  • Ability to handle sensitive, meaningful content with professionalism and empathy
  • Experience supporting purpose-led businesses, charities, or personal brands is an advantage

Tools & Platforms (Experience Preferred):

  • Canva (graphics and basic video editing)
  • Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
  • Social media platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook
  • ClickUp or similar task management tools
  • Microsoft Teams
  • HubSpot (basic familiarity helpful, not required)

Shifts & Hours:

  • Starting hours: minimum of 10 hours per week; flexible shift
  • Potential to increase to 15–20 hours per week as the role grows
  • Target Start Date: Within 2 weeks from hiring confirmation
